In this week’s episode of the Worst Generation Podcast, the crew finally gets to give our first impressions of Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK), a Shonen Jump series, seems to have sprung on the scene as of late and it seems like it can do no wrong.
The series draws comparisons to Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, and many more iconic series establishing itself as something that feels eerily familiar even though it’s still fairly new in many of our lives. After discussing how tired we were of overused tropes and lack of creativity as of late in the Anime Arcs Episode, the crew thought this series might be just what we needed. Tap in to hear our thoughts.
SPOILER ALERT: The Crew jumps in to this review head first discussing the manga, anime and everything in between. They do their best to cover as much as possible in this massive 2 hour episode so buckle up.

Jujutsu Kaisen Synopsis
Idly indulging in baseless paranormal activities with the Occult Club, high schooler Yuuji Itadori spends his days at either the clubroom or the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon takes a turn for the strange when he unknowingly encounters a cursed item.
Triggering a chain of supernatural occurrences, Yuuji finds himself suddenly thrust into the world of Curses—dreadful beings formed from human malice and negativity—after swallowing the said item, revealed to be a finger belonging to the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “King of Curses.”
Yuuji experiences first-hand the threat these Curses pose to society as he discovers his own newfound powers. Introduced to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he begins to walk down a path from which he cannot return—the path of a Jujutsu sorcerer.
